This Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Marion Town Hall and Water Department, located at 6021 Dale Drive, Marion, Mississippi, will be closed in observance of this important national holiday.
“We don’t know them all, but we owe them all.”
On this day of remembrance, we extend our deepest gratitude to every veteran — the men and women who have bravely served our great nation with honor, courage, and sacrifice. Their selfless dedication has protected our freedoms and shaped the strong community we enjoy today in the Town of Marion.
If you’re visiting our great small town this Veterans Day, we invite you to take a moment to reflect and pay tribute:
🇺🇸 Visit the Confederate Cemetery in Marion, a solemn place of remembrance honoring those who served generations ago.
🎖️ Attend the Veterans Day Tribute Ceremony at East Mississippi Veterans Park, 5955 M Street, Meridian, MS, beginning at 10:30 AM.The event will feature guest speaker Patrick Kirby, NAS Meridian Honor Guard, a flyover (weather permitting), and special music by the 41st U.S. Army Band – “The Governor’s Own.”
Let us join together as neighbors and friends to celebrate all Veterans and Members of the Armed Forces who have served and continue to serve with pride.
