New Year, New Roof for Marion Fire & Rescue

The Town of Marion is proud to begin the new year with an important improvement that supports those who serve our community every day. Today, work is underway on a brand-new roof for the Marion Fire & Rescue building—an investment that reflects our commitment to safety, readiness, and appreciation.

Marion Fire & Rescue is always on call, ready to respond for our local citizens, businesses, and neighborhoods. Ensuring their facility is secure and well-maintained helps them stay focused on what matters most: protecting lives and property throughout our community.

Mayor Larry Gill shared his appreciation for both the project and the men and women who serve so faithfully:

“Marion Fire & Rescue is the backbone of emergency response in our town. Taking care of their building is one way we show our appreciation for the dedication and sacrifice they give to our community every day. We are proud to support them and grateful for their service.”

This upgrade is more than a new roof—it’s a reflection of our town’s ongoing commitment to those who protect and serve. A strong community starts with preparedness, and Marion Fire & Rescue plays a vital role in keeping our citizens and businesses safe.

We extend our sincere thanks to every member of Marion Fire & Rescue for their continued service and dedication. The Town of Marion is proud to stand behind you and ensure you have what you need to stay ready to answer the call.
